CYCLING TRIPS
DAY 1: Arrival Phnom Penh

Arrival in Phnom Penh. Free day to explore Phnom Penh by bicycle. The Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum of Khmer Arts, the Art Deco Central Market and Wat Phnom, the hill from which the city takes it name are all worthy of a look. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 2: Phnom Penh – Kirirom National Park 80 KM

After breakfast depart by coach to a starting point outside Phnom Penh. Cycle to Kirirom National Park. Arrive at the National Park and settle in for the night at a basic campsite near the waterfalls.

DAY 3: Kirirom National Park – Sihanoukville 120 KM

After breakfast, depart for Sihanoukville on a good, mostly downhill road. In Sihanoukville check into hotel and then enjoy the beach for a swim. Barbeque dinner.

DAY 4: Sihanoukville – Kampot 85 KM

After breakfast, depart for Kampot by coach to start the cycling leg outside Sihanoukville. Lunch in a fishing village on the coast. Arrive and check into hotel in Kampot.

DAY 5: Kampot – Bokor – Kampot 40KM (rising 1072m)

After an early breakfast, depart for the mountain stage on this tour, the Bokor Mountain Nature Reserve and National Park. Rough and winding road with an 800m-height climb. A support vehicle is always on hand. Lunch on top of Bokor Mountain with fantastic views of the coast. Drinks served in front of the abandoned 1920s era Casino. In the early afternoon cycle/drive back to Kampot.

DAY 6: Kampot - Kep- Takeo 110KM

After breakfast, depart for the former seaside resort of Kep and continue on picturesque back roads towards Takeo town.

DAY 7: Takeo – Phnom Chisor – Phnom Penh 80KM

After breakfast, depart for Phnom Chisor temple and have lunch on top of the hill. Continue towards the temples by the Tonle Bati Lake before driving the last part of the way to Phnom Penh by coach.

NOTE:

The biking programs featured here are all accompanied by a support vehicle with a local guide. A cycling guide can also be arranged if required. How much time is actually spent cycling or travelling in the support vehicle is entirely up to the individual on these tours.

Cycling tours are quoted for a minimum of 5 participants. Prices on request for less participants. It is recommended to bring your own bicycle. Rental bicycles are available at extra cost.
