CYCLING TRIPS
Day 1: Siem Reap
Arrive Siem Reap. Free day at leisure to prepare the bicycles. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor – Siem Reap (25 km)
Early breakfast and departure to Angkor for sunrise before continuing to Angkor Thom, the South Gate, the Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon, cycle to Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo and finish with a sunset view from Phnom Bakheng.
Day 3: Siem Reap - Bantey Srei – Siem Reap (50 km)
Cycle to Banteay Srei (20km), on a newly paved road. Continue to Kbal Spean (River of a Thousand Lingas), Hiking to the top to view the riverbed carvings. Picnic lunch. Return to Siem Reap via the Banteay Samre temple.
Day 4:Siem Reap – Roluos - Beng Melea (60 km)
After breakfast, cycle to the Roluos group temples. Continue to Phum Damdek town for lunch. In the afternoon cycle to Beng Melea Temple. Dinner and overnight at a camp ground/pagoda near the temple.
Day 5: Beng Melea – Phnom Koulen - Siem Reap (60 km)
Early breakfast at pagoda and visit of Beng Melea. Cycle to Phnom Koulen Mountain. Picnic lunch by a waterfall. In the afternoon cycle back to Siem Reap town.
Day 6: Grand Circuit – Tonle Sap Lake (45 km)
Cycle the Grand Circuit with Prasat Kravan, Pre Rup, Neak Pean & Preah Khan temples. In the afternoon cycle to Tonle Sap Lake and take a small cruise through the floating villages. Farewell dinner/show with Apsara Dances.
Day 7: SIEM REAP OUT
Free until your transfer to the departure flight. (B)
NOTE:
The biking programs featured here are all accompanied by a support vehicle with a local guide. A cycling guide can also be arranged if required. How much time is actually spent cycling or travelling in the support vehicle is entirely up to the individual on these tours.
Cycling tours are quoted for a minimum of 5 participants. Prices on request for less participants. It is recommended to bring your own bicycle. Rental bicycles are available at extra cost.
